The belief that keeping problems inside is somehow honorable is a belief that has plagued our families, churches, and communities for far to long. We were raised to believe that our business needs to remain OUR business. While I can understand that everything isn't for everybody, I believe it is time to address ALL of the elephants we kept walking past in ALL the rooms we enter. The idea that talking about our problems is wrong has led to many unhealthy secrets, some of which serve as the perfect recipe for toxic mental health.
